It comes to you in the wonderful, ever popular, Dark Ash Wood. Lucian Ercolani perfected the art of steam bending wood and this became a signature feature of Ercol chairs. Evergreen is a combination of the traditional Windsor chair making skills from the Chilterns. The Evergreen was designed in the 1950's by Ercol.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis chair has a wonderful high back, with wooden arms and an inbuilt lumbar support for comfort. The upturned arm rests are supported by slender spindles. The cushions are foam filled and in a wonderful Floral William Morris Style fabric. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe quality of this sofa is outstanding with Classic Windsor wedge joints that provide great strength and a beautiful feature on the arms, whilst Ercol comb joints provide great strength to the seat frame.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis sofa has it's original Ercol Label underneath the frame. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt has been sympathetically cleaned and both the frame and cushions are in excellent vintage condition.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFREE collection from our shop is available by appointment only.
