Cancellations and Returns

We aim to give our customers a great shopping experience. As we are dealing in Antique and Vintage items we strongly recommend that you, the customer, take time to thoroughly look at photos, descriptions and details of items before purchasing and again upon delivery or pick up by yourselves.

Cancellation of Orders

If a customer changes their mind or decides for any reason that they do not want to purchase the Goods before they are dispatched then they will be entitled to a full refund. They will need to contact us in writing by email that they wish to cancel the goods and then receive confirmation from RetroNovia that the goods have not been dispatched. The right to cancel does not apply to Goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to the customer's specification. Additional items include Gift cards, Downloadable software products and Paint. If in doubt please contact us.

If a customer cancels the goods after they have been dispatched then the costs of delivery are non-refundable.

Returning An Item

Consumers who are based in the EU can request to return goods up to 14 days after the Goods have been received. You will need to inform us via Email. The product must be in the same condition that you received it and undamaged in anyway. 

We are unable to accept returns for Goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to the customer's specification. Additional items include Gift cards, Downloadable software products and Paint.

We are unable to accept returns for items that do not fit the space you have planned or will not fit through doorways/hallways/upstairs etc in your home or business as all measurements are clearly stated in each item listing. We are not able to take responsibility for furniture that will not fit on delivery. 

For safety reasons we advise that any heavy/large/tall items are fixed to a solid wall to prevent any falls or injuries. We cannot accept responsibility for goods once they have left our care.

In the case of return, outgoing delivery costs are non-refundable. The customer will also be responsible for organising the return delivery and costs relating to this. We strongly advise using tracked delivery for returning items.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 allows customers to return faulty Goods that are damaged in transportation or if the listing on our website is inaccurate, misleading or misrepresents the Goods. We advise that customer's check the goods on arrival from the delivery Company thoroughly before signing for them to look for signs of damage. If you are unable to check the goods then please sign for them as "unchecked". If an item is damaged then please provide photographic evidence to us via email.

Please note that vintage and antique items are not sold as new and are likely to show signs of wear, tear and patina as this will not be accepted as grounds for a refund.

We are not liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties (i.e. customer pick up in own transport or customers arranging their own courier)
